Another busy Saturday at the Waipara depot. First up De 512 lines Di 1102 up for fueling. About 350 gallons were pumped in. That is 1592 liters or $3185 worth of diesel. The engineering team fitted up the first gangway curtains which is a great safety improvement for our passenger operations. The ballast wagons have been loaded for our track work programme using our trusty Hi Rail digger. Dg 791 is undergoing its COF safety check.
Our amazing treasurer and keeper of railway sanity Sue is doing the never ending job of keeping the carriages up to a passenger worthy standard!! Thanks Sue!
The passenger train consist is assembled with locomotive Di 1102 from our operating partners Diesel Traction Group for our public running day tomorrow.
